Loot Rules
Bartender4
Good evening fellow raiders. My name is Umoar and I am your designated Master Looter for this raid. This discussion will serve as your loot rule briefing for this raid.
The rules I will be discussing are documented on the Probably Going to Wipe Discord server in the loot-rules-signup-alts-policy.
We will be using the Main Spec > Off Spec +1 rule. This is otherwise known as MS/OS+1
This is how it works.
The following is for Boss fights.
Main Spec:
Each player has a 'win' counter that is incremented by 1 everytime you win an loot item. Anytime a boss drop occurs, players that want to roll on that item will do so with the command /roll 100. Those players with the lowest 'win' counter will be given higher priority.
Off Spec:
Players that wish to roll on an item for their character's off-spec, use the command /roll 50. This will differentiate the main spec and off spec rolls. Off spec rolls do not utilize the 'win', or +1, counter. If there are no main spec rolls, the item will be given to any player in the raid that has the highest OS roll with no penalty.
No Interest
If an item is not rolled on, either for Main Spec or Off Spec, the item will be immediately disenchanted.
Trash BoEs
For drops that occur with Trash, players can roll on these items with no impact to the 'win' counter. All rolls will be made with the command /roll 100. There is no differentiation between main and off-spec. However, given the nature of drops from trash, you are required to equip that item at the time when it is distributed to you.
Class-Specific Gear
Gear that is identified as being class-specific (i.e., paladin, caster, et al.), rolls will be limited to those characters that meet that criteria.
In addition, if the loot item has INT, SPIRIT, etc., rolls will be limited to healers.
If the item is a bow with agility, rolls will be limited to hunters.
The raid leader has the final say in the distribution of loot.
And remember, have fun.
Thank you.
