Arlyn and I headed out to the Home & Garden Show at Cal Expo. We met up with Jim and Vine. After hanging around the exhibits for a couple of hours, we headed over the Chili's for dinner.

On a sunny Saturday, windy afternoon, guest gathered at the Ogden home to celebrate Valentine's Day. Yes...Valentine's Day does not occur until February 14. But hey...any opportunity to get together with good friends, food and videoke works for us.

Sometimes, when I read some of the posts on Facebook, I think to myself...what are these people thinking?

This year, I made reservations weeks ago with a restaurant called Lucca's Restaurant and Bar. It was my goal to try a new restaurant every year in an attempt to get to know Sacramento a little better and to keep things 'new.' Lucca's turned out to be a great place. I had the Pappardelle while Arlyn had the pasta with crab. The company was great (of course), the food was great and the service was top-notch. It made for a very romantic and enjoyable evening.
