Memory: This camera is compatible with SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, SDXC memory cards. When shooting movies, use a large-capacity SD card rated SD Speed Class 6 or higher. The threads mention that using a 64GB card is possible, however, the write speed may be slower than necessary. Using a 16 GB or 32 GB card (perhaps a SanDisk Extreme SD card) would be best. When shooting a 1920x1080 movie at 30 fps, you can expect 11 minutes on a 4 GB card, 22 minutes on a 8 GB card, and 44 minutes on a 16 GB card.

Setting Lens Focus to Infinity
Unlike older cameras, this lens does not have an infinity setting.
Set the lens to Manual Focus (MF).
Focus the camera on the farthest thing, like the horizon.

This camera requires the use of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, not Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. Lithium batteries produce 1.5 volts while the NiMH batteries are rated at 1.2 volts. If NiMH batteries are used, they will last for a couple of shots and then die.
